Check out this artist, Seung Mo Park, whose meticulous efforts have created incredible works of art. Amazingly, these intricate sculptures are crafted entirely out of bent and folded aluminum wire. This Brooklyn-based Korean artist manipulates wire to form beautiful sculptures that probably take hundreds of hours to make. The wire is layered in metallic rings, similar to the rings of a tree. The detail of his work is extraordinary, as he focuses on the very folds of clothing and the musculature of the subjects. The pieces are part of his Human series, which is entirely about human subjects.

This isn’t the first time Park has used wire to create incredible works of art. Park has made similar sculptures in his Object series, though these works focus on inanimate subjects like bicycles and pianos. Some of his other pieces consist of cutting up layers upon layers of mesh wire to form beautiful giant portraits of people.
